What disc drive is in MTU's laptop?
 

I recently got an HP Pavillon dv8000 notebook. My disc drive doesn't do karaoke. I've always bought Plextor's, and have always been extreamly satisfied. Since Plextor doesn't make a disc drive for a notebook, I'm trying to find out the best disc drive to put in a notebook. Since MTU has a notebook, I figure they installed the most dependable one they could find. Does anyone know which disc drive is in the MTU Laptop? Also, are all notebook disc drives standard?

Ernie, MTU also sells a laptop drive separate. There are two physical size (height) drives so you need to check if it will work for the HP.
