thanks for the reply, one more question, do i still need to uninstall hoster on my second ( back-up ) laptop

Yes you MUST delete the other laptop installation.

If you want to run on three computers you must order a second copy of Hoster.

beavis said that there was an incorrect answer,.do i need to re-set my registration or just delete my back-up hoster ?which is which.... and re-install it on my new laptop which is supposed to be delivered on aug. 3, now do i have to re-set/uninstall my back-up prior to getting my new laptop?

You can only have copies on 2 computers. As you said above you currently have it on a laptop and a desktop PC. When you get the new laptop, you will have to uninstall one of the existing copies, either from the laptop or the desktop. Then have registration reset. Then install on the new laptop. Best way now to have the registration reset is to use the Support link on the main website.
