Go to Tools/Rebuild Database and see what folders are listed. It may not be changing to the external drive. If they are not listed then try adding them and rebuilding.

Are you sure your external drive hasn't changed drive letters...I have seen that happen.

Are the files on your external drive .KMA files or are they CD+G files or something else? (Just asking the obvious and easily overlooked questions:g )

I checked the external hard drive and the drive letter matches. I can see all the files and they are Kma They won't import to new song database

Davie Lee:

A question. Do you have your KMA in a folder on your external disk? If it is so you need to select that folder not just the external drive.
