check freedb not working on my laptop - hoster 3.310
 

receive error message "your pc appears to be offline. freedb cannot be accessed at this time"

I am using an airlink wireless cardbus adapter. i can access all other websites fine.

any clue??

Make sure that you did not block Hoster from Accessing the Internet with a Firewall.

I have looked on www.freedb.org and have not found a reason that would cause this.

They do have a way to download their database locally to your computer, I am in the process of downloading the file now to see how it works.
