Installing 2nd monitor

I hooked up a 2nd LCD Monitor. I am using the DVI setup. How long of a cable can I use for this set-up. Iam now using a 10' cable?

Most "experts" reccomend nothing over 10'. But then most don't want you to run anything over 10', some say 6'. I'm in a job where i get paid to answer questions like this all day. and the first thing i ask is, Does it work now? Are you happy with the quality? If yes then your fine, you are your worse judge of what it looks like. They say you shouldn't split your cable but have a new line installed. ppl commonly run 4 or more tvs off one line. But you should be good up to about 75' before you will need a amplifier for the line. but as always testing will be the proof because everyones setup is differant.
