Tried to upgrade to 3.303 from 3.300 but lost hoster

Hi guys. When I did the install,a message came up saying I must uninstall all prier versions of hoster to install 3.3003.So I clicked on yes and hoster went bye bye.I tried to install 3.303, (paid 39.95 for the download from my account)and got the 2computer thing. I have a gig tomorrow night.I do have my disks for backup, but haven't used em in a long time and really don't want to if I can help it.Could someone please reset the registration code so I can get my upgrade? OR,if no one gets back to me before my gig, would it be totally insane to buy the downloadable 3.303 at full price just so I can work tomorrow, and plead my case to MTU when I can get in touch with them? Bevis, you may haft to consult cornholio on this one. Thanks

they were suppose to have lightened up on the re-installing in this version. do you have it installed on 2 computers ?

The one that still works is a laptop that has no songs imported yet. I don't know how to transfer kma files to it yet and my detatchable cd drive is not yet compatable( I just bought it on Ebay) The one that lost hoster is the rackmount unit I bought from MTU.It was loaded with 3.006 when I bought it.I later upgraded to 3.300 (offline)with no uninstall promt or problem

Your best bet at this point might be to try and restore your computer to an earlier time (you do have restore turned on right?). Try and pick a recent restore point date that windows picked at random. Windows will set a restore point before installing or upgrading Hoster but it's been my experience that those won't work.

I try to tell everyone to manually set a restore point before messing with Hoster because the "just-in-cases" happen at the worst times
