Transfering Songbook to Excel
I did a search and could not find any info on this subject that fit.
Is there a way to copy my songbook into MS Excel? Due to changes to the database in hoster since my original purchase several years ago my songbooks have become really messed up. Mainly due to the integrity of the database with regards to typos, misplaced commas, etc. I understand that hoster uses acess for the database so it should be possible to transfer the info into excel so I can manipulate the info and make the corrections and pull out my duplicates etc. Then transfer them back into hoster database and rebuild. What would be the procedure (in laymans terms please) on how to do this. |
Import it into access first. right now, it is in access 97 format, so it will have to be imported.
then Export it into excel........ |

thank you!!
I will give this a try! |
If you send me your songs.mdb, I will send you back an excel file.
I have written a utility that takes the songs.mdb and converts it (almost instantly) into a .csv file that can be read by Excel. |
so how do I send the file to you...pm's and emails are disabled on this forum
|
i took care of it
