Lyrics don't display all the time - adjusting Harware Accelerator fixed problem

I recently purchased microstudio in a package. At the same time I purchased a Plextor 716A drive from MTU. Every thing works fine except Microstudio.

When I bring up a CDG file it will usually display the lyrics the first time I play it. When I try to play it again or another song on the list, the disc logo comes up but the lyrics don't. Even when the music starts playing. I then have to close the program and reboot it then the same thing happens, it will play one time with lyrics and then won't.

I have tried removing the program from my computer and re-installing it but the same thing happens. I have re-installed it from the downloaded version and also from the CD you sent.

I have a trial copy of Hoster and the same files will play on it without any problem.

I have looked through your FAQ list and don't find any help

My guess is that you need to change the Hardware Acceleration on the Sound Card. Here is how to do it:

Open CONTROL PANEL.

Open SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES.

Open AUDIO.

Under SOUND PLAYBACK DEFAULT DEVICE open ADVANCED.

Open PERFORMANCE.

You can now change the audio hardware accellerator.

Change this to Basic Acceleration.

to MTU support re problems with musicstudio

I tried your suggestion to change the hardware acceleration on the sound card and that seem to have solved my problem. Thanks a lot for your help
