Controlling sweep to new page
KHPpro is designed to function with the meter of the music, assuming the producer of the song knows when to tap the spacebar and when to hold back. Let's say the last word of a set of four lines is "evermore", and when properly sung would come across something like "eveeermoooore". KHPro is designed to highlight slooooowly across the word "eveeermoooore" and not start highlighting the next word until you tap the space bar for that new word.
In almost every instance where this is the case there will be adequate time for the new words on the next page to be drawn in place, irregardless of the number of characters in the last line on the page as compared to the previous lines. In these instances one need not make sure the last line has more characters in it, as long as there is such a word anywhere in the last line that will sweep slowly. Anywhere in the song, the longer you wait to tap the space bar, the slower the highlight sweep progresses through the word you're on. Thus, KHPro is designed to work with the meter of the music. It works great! :w |
