Search Button not working? Solution
 
I found a problem with the search button and have stumbled on the solution.

You would not see the Add Track Database Search window pop up when the primary monitor is #2 and monitor #1 is on the left hand side of #2. Follow me?

Does any one else have this problem or is it just on my machine?

I've never heard of it coming up on a monitor other than what Hoster is located on. Then again Monitor 1 is normally the primary regardles of where #2 is located.

Once you move it back to where you want it it will stay where you put it.

when you see it on the 2 unit drag it back over to the main unit
and it should stay there

Yea, it sounds as if you have dragged it to the second monitor and it has stayed due to the Persistent settings. Once you drag it back to Monitor 1 and close it, it should then stay there.
