I would like to upgrade from Microstudio V2.609 to ehe latest version 2.612. How canI do this? How much will it cost?

If your purchase is within 365 days, then you can go to your store account to download the upgrades. This is stated in this FAQ: http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-website.htm
