plug the drive into your computer, power it up, open Hoster. Under tools, rebuild the song database, using the USB drive as the source, and if the files are there, it should work. I hope this helps.

Hello Everyone

I a laptop I purchased from MTU. It Has 80 Gs
I also went out and bought an 80gig Ex Drive and backed up all my files on it in case I have a problem .
How Can I check my back up on this laptop to make sure the files will run.
I don't think I want to build a data base again because everything is the same as Drive C
I hope you can help me
Thanks

it doesnt matter that it set to run on the laptop. just rebuild to the external and test then rebuild back to the internal hard drive.

after you test your external drive then go back to rebuid database and point it to the folder where you kma's are on your laptop drive.

im pretty sure you wont need to test the external drive. just go look how large the folder is and that will tell the story.
