Hoster 3.300 crashes on disk import - fixed in 3.301
 

Installed hoster on a Dell Optiplex SX280 computer everything works fine until I import a cdg the program shuts down and displays the following message. The Hoster Application has encountered a problem and needs to shut down.

upgrade to 3.301 when its available.

there seemss to be an upgrade problem. should be fixed asap.

Upgraded to 3.301 but still have problems!!!
 

Upgraded to 3.301 on a Dell Optiplex SX280. I can now import cdg's but when I play the song the screen goes blank and all i hear is clicking.

Make sure that your drive supports MMC. If you get a Black screen and clicking noise your drive will not work, there is no way to fix this other than to replace the drive.

I would replace it with a Plextor 716 model drive, best for CD+G. If you want a cheaper type of drive that should work, not tested, try the Sony brands.
