which files and/or folders to copy when backing up database

I just installed the full version of Hoster to my show laptop. My question is
" How do I backup the database to my backup laptop I use for practice at home in order to maintain the exact status at all times on the backup laptop?" Currently I import everything to the show laptop only as I understand that the database updates automatically after all imports. Will I need to simply copy a certain file or folder from the show laptop after importing and bring the copy over to the backup laptop.?
Also, another question, "Can I use the portable HD on the show laptop and hook it up to the backtop laptop?" Will this work too?

You can use the same external hard drive on 2 different laptops that have hoster on them. The only thing you have to do is rebuild songs database on the machine you didnt originally load the songs on. this will read every karaoke file on that drive and update the database so it will be the same as the other machine.

GDGUNS: And if I don not choose to use the same HD for both, but one that is installed internally in the backup computer. Which files or folders do I need to copy from the original HD and transfer to the backup internal HD to make the backup computer identical to the original?

Ahhh, I do this also, so my 2 machines match. what you do is plug the usb drive into the other machine, then read the directories that the .kma files are stored on using windows Explorer, click view, show details. Sort By Modified. you can find the last files modified, then transfer them to the other directory.

Then you have to update the songs database in hoster. really verry simple.
