Showing music videos on big screen while singer sees graphics on his monitor

Right now I use cdg's but am converting to Hoster really soon. Pardon me for my lack of complete understanding with Hoster. I have only fooled with the demo a few times.
Anyway, many times I play videos of the songs from my laptop on the big screen as the singer sings the words on his monitor. I do this with a video switch that has an input from the laptop(which I also show slideshows of singers) and an input from the karaoke machine. That way I can toggle between whatever is on my laptop and the karaoke graphics for the big screen TV that the audinece views. If I add hoster to this existing laptop, I can only play the videos on TV #2 but the singer's monitor will also see the video and not his graphics. I wonder if there is a way to continue what I am currently doing(toggling big screen between laptop screen and karaoke graphics) and keeping singers monitor to karaoke graphics after adding Hoster to the laptop? What dya think?

AS far as I know, Computers may ONLY have ONE Video Card.

Therefore, NO.

With the SAME COMPUTER, you either use the Video Device to Display Graphics (from KMA/MP3G) from Hoster or a Video (MPEG/DVD) from Hoster or a Video via a different Program.

It is Impossible to make a SINGLE Video Device display both, at the same time, from the SAME Computer.

You, still, will need a second Computer...laptop or otherwise...and utilize a Video A/B Switch.

Bryant, where do you get your music videos?

with XP it's possible to connect (and manage) up to 10 monitors.

Two video cards

Actually, you can install two independent video cards if your motherboard supports them. Obviously this would not apply to a laptop. I have considered the exact configuration but have had heat issues which must be overcome first.

Thanx for the info.

Oh, in response to byrds question
about the videos, I'll get the website for you.
I am at school and my g/f has it at home.
Watch for my post.

Program for second display

I believe this follows this thread somewhat... I have always wanted to play black and white videos when DJ music is playing but I am unsure which program is best suited for this. I use Windows Media Player for DJ music so that can't be used for videos also. Any suggestions on a second program? I've also experimented with the visualizations on WMP trying to put them on the big screen (2nd monitor) but I've found that I have to drag the entire program over to the screen and expand it to full screen to get the visualizations over there. Then of course I can't use the program on my primary monitor until the song is over. Anyone know of a way to send the visualizations from WMP to a second monitor without sending the program window? I also am interested in the music video website... waiting for the re-post.
