Import CD tracks and Hoster Crashes
 

Hi there
I have tried to import CD tracks on Hoster 3.3. the tracks came up ok with the song title and artist, etc, i pressed select all, and it did but when i pressed the button "proccess selected tracks" it tells me that Hoster has encountered a problem and needs to close, it then offers me to send an error report, i have tried reinstalling Hoster, i even formatted my laptop, with the same problem when i tried again. Please help

i know why it doesn't work! it's because i don't have a CD+G reader on my laptop, only a CD-R/DVD-r reader + writer.
But it works with my plextor reader/writer on my desk top PC and i can write the KMA files on CD and paste them on the Laptop and then build a song database and it works

you can import them in your desktop and transfer them to your laptop then rebuild the database.

We'll look into why Hoster crashes when a CDG capable reader is not attached. Thanks for reporting this.

As to adding your songs to the Songs Database, after you get them to your Laptop, use the Tools menu Merge command. Read the manual on how it works. It is the solution for what you are doing. :w
