Video player not recognizing .wmv files as video files
 

I am really glad with the new additions and even more elated about hoster now being able to play virtually every kind of format a karaoke song can come in these days....however when i select the wmv tab to play wmv files it says that the files are not video files.. I was wondering if that problem could be rectified with some sort of a patch that can enable it to recognise these files. pretty much like what is in media player 9 and 10 that makes it see and play .wmv files.

The only WMV I could not play were DRM protected. They would ONLY play on WMP which is how microsoft designed them. I found a couple of forums where they claimed to be able to defeat the DRM but I was never able to get it to work.
