New User Import lock up problems

Hello Everyone,
I am a new user to Hoster, I am in the process of importing 600+ disks. The main Problem that I am haveing is on some songs the drive will fail to finnish reading the track and hang untill it times out and cause the hoster program to lock up or shut down. i am currently down to 2x on the drive speed but it dosnt seem to make a diffrence on the how or why it locks up. I can play the same tracks on my pc based cdg player and on my Karaoke machine without an issue. I get a "cannot read sectors XXXXXX possable ASPI error". Then I get the windows "Hoster App Has encountered a problem and needs to close..... do you wish to send to Microsoft". I have yet to use hoster in a show but i would like to know if any one can point me in a direction to help me resolve this issue. I would hate to have this happen durring a show importing a customers song. I am running a dell insperion 9300 with 1 gb of memory and a 256 mb vid card. a Plextor external cd rom drive with win XP Pro with ALL of the updates current as of last week.
Thanks In advance,
Cruz

I am using same laptop with 512 megs of ram and built in ati graphics plextor 716UF burner. No Problems. sounds like your having multi-session problem 15th track or media-cloq disc sc8700 series. Bob

I had the same issues with my hoster/computer. I un-installed and reinstalled. Turned out, the biggest prblem was I had a couple of songs that were corrupted( corrupted files). Try re-installing. As I was told, back-up and save.
