Beavis,
You should beable to, this is something bad wrong if not. I have asked Admin about this, as he knows more about the forums than I do.

I had the same problem Sunday night. The forum WAS down until monday morning. It wasn't just AOL. I have a direct Broadband connection and experienced the same thing.

I experienced that one Sunday also (the standard 404 message), but the message Beavis reported and I experienced monday night/tuesday morning was totally different from anything I've ever seen

The forum must know I'm trying to get on because I continue getting email notifications on threads I haven't been able to make it back it back to.

This is what I am getting at the night hours.
http://www.citlink.net/~jdavia/download.gif
and here is the text when I press the advanced tab

uiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">PHP Warning: Zend Optimizer does not support this version of PHP - please upgrade to the latest version of Zend Optimizer in Unknown on line 0 HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Fri, 02 Dec 2005 10:31:46 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.34 (Unix) filter/1.0 PHP/4.4.1 X-Powered-By: PHP/4.4.1 Set-Cookie: bbsessionhash=2695eb119373dd06b93eeca0112a7fde; path=/ Cache-Control: private Content-Length: 56609 Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=100 Connection: Keep-Alive Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1

The index page will appear under this text but no matter what link you click on, the download will pop up. You cannot access anything because the download form pops up each time you try.

We bought a dedicated server for the MTU.Community Forums to make them faster. I'm sorry this problem is now happening. It has something to do with the version of PHP and the Optimizer that was installed. We pay to have this web server managed by the hosting company, not our web master.

We thought this "Zend Optimizer" problem had been fixed by our web hosting company. I'll submit another ticket on this with jadavia's error message. This is a new hosting company for us, and their not having solved this problem is very disturbing to us.

Thanks for your reports and patience as we continue to work on solving this. :s

thanks for the reply admin.

do what you have to do to get it fixed.

its not the end of the world for the forum to be down from time to time.

Merry X-mas ! :w
