Mark Song or Mark Bad File
Some of my kma's come up with an error during my show. Since the file does not play, I cannot use the mark song feature and I don't have time during a show to go back and look up which book Id was the bad file. Any suggestions out there?

I normally keep a notepad window open during a show in order to throw down song requests and such real fast. Could do the same to throw down the book ID as well.
Or possibly stuff the singer's request slip in your pocket. |
Try Rebuilding the Database and see if you get a file called Duplicate BookIDs.TXT file (or something like that) in your Hoster Folder.
If so, then the files listed, in that TXT file, will be the BAD KMAs...NOT DUPLICATE KMAs. Then, Re-import the KMAs Listed in the TXT file. Hopefully, there will only be a FEW KMAs Listed. Another way is if you have a BACKUP of your KMAs. You could COMPARE the Folders to see if there is a difference. If so, copy the KMAs from the BACKUP to the SHOW Computer. You will need some kind of FILE UTILITY program that Compares Folders. Norm |
