Disk not importing in Hoster
I have a disk Keynote Karaoke key-1524 that I imported and copied using Microstudio. I plays in Microstudio fine. When I tried to import it into Hoster it does nothing. I even tried to import the copy and it does not read it. I had two disks from Keynote. The one above and key-1525. Neither of them will import into Hoster but both will play in Microstudio. Microstudio= 2.611 Hoster=3.120:?. I even tried to add a track from both the copy and the original in Hoster but that did not work either?
Can anything be done? Is this an MTU problem? What a mess if I would have tried to import this disk at a "live" show. :r |
I've never heard of that brand so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work.
What does Hoster do (or not do) when you try to import it? If you can use microstudio to get the cdg file on your computer you can always import as a HD file from the Import HD screen. Sam |
What Hoster does.
Thanks for the reply and information. Hoster does nothing. The drive (Plextor PX-709UF) spins up and after awhile I get tired of Hoster not giving me any error message so I pop the disk. Hoster's database did not have these songs in there so I was doing a custome install where I needed to type in the songs and such.
Today, it worked? I had completely shut down the system and powered it off yesterday before I wrote a question in this forum. I did not want to bother anyone with "operater error". I fired up the system this morning and now it is reading the disk copy that I made with Microstudio. Must have been "sun spots" or too much turkey that caused the problem. :) I am going to try the original disk again? Thank you so much for the great information and next time I will try the HD import thing. I have not done that yet as I loaded my 8000+ songs into the system one disk at a time. I have spent a few hours in this forum reading information about the MTU products and I am sold on them. I just ordered an additional copy of Microstudio for my laptop. Now if we could just get MTU to certify some DVD drives for CDG I would not need to carry my external Plextor around and life would be SO GOOD! :w Drives for the notebook/laptops would be very helpful. Have a great day!!! |
