you might be in "cloned mode" not extended desktop.
|
Could you tell us a little about your system. What type of video card do you have?
|
Sounds like Beavis is right if you're seeing everything on the remote unit.
To go to EXTENDED DESKTOP... Have everything hooked up and turned on. Right click anywhere on a blank spot on the pc desktop. Click PROPERTIES. Click SETTINGS. You should see two monitors. Click on #2 to highlight it. Check the block next to EXTEND MY WINDOWS DESKTOP TO THIS MONITOR. Click OK and exit. When in EXTENDED DESKTOP you should see your wallpaper only, no shortcuts, toolbars, etc. If this doesn't get it, then we will need more system info from you including the video card you have. I have now added this to the FAQ's located at http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-h...tm#DualDisplay

Can we gather from a comment made on another thread dealing with hard drive capacity that this problem is now resolved :?

I have 20,600 songs (kma files) in my hoster. That takes up 78gb. on my hard drive. You can put the kma files on your c: drive, that is the default location hoster puts them in. Then be sure to to back up all your kma files on your external drive.
