Help with output to TV

I tried outputting to a TV for the first time. I'm running an S Video plug to composite from a Radeon 9600XT. I get my desktop wallpaper ok but nothing else. I can also set the Tv as my primary monitor, but I don't want that. I made sure the TV was on before running Hoster as per the manual but still no output. Something simple I'm sure. Also, anybody know how to set WMP for output to TV? Thanks.

you need monitor 2 to be in extended mode.

In 'Display Properties > Settings > Multiple monitors > Monitor 2' I have checked 'extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor' and my desktop wallpaper is showing on the TV monitor. When I click 'Identify' a 2 comes up on that TV. That's it, nothing else. When I open Hoster and play a song it shows only on my primary monitor. Wallpaper only on TV.
Update: While experimenting with different resolutions etc. I noticed the edge of a dialogue box and when I moved the box to the right of the computer monitor it showed up on the TV monitor, so I put Hosters lyric panel way over off the right and it showed up on the TV. I tried other settings and now have Hoster's lyric screen showing up just as it should.
BTW, Windows Media Player shows up on the TV also if I move it to the right, off the PC monitor screen. Sizing isn't easy tho.
Thanks for the tips.

you need to double click the screen that shows the hoster lyrics and it will move it to the TV.
