Won't install
 
I purchased Karaoke suite 4 on diskette 7/19. Microstudio and Keyrite will not install from the disk. Vogone and Khp installed satisfactorily. When trying to install Microstudio the following error msg pops up; An error(-5009:0x80040702)has occured while running set up. Keyrite responds with: the disk is corrupted please obtain another copy. I am running windows XP on a new Dell P4 system. My assumption is that I have a bad disk but in reviewing the FAQ's, problems with installation of Microstudio from diskette seems to be fairly common. I've tried everything including powering down.

Terry,

If I'm not mistaken you also should have received download emails containing download links for the products.

Why not save yourself some time and download Microstudio and Keyrite using those links ?

I'll flag your post so MTU staff will know you may need a replacemend cd as well.

Do as stated in this FAQ:http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-h...llShieldError1

Search for the InstallShield folder (by default, the full path is C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield). In the search results, select the InstallShield folder, press the delete key to delete the folder. Try running the install again.
