Hoster/Microsoft Error

When I'm in the middle of importing mp3+g zip files I get a Send/Don't Send application error. Everything is updated. What should I do?

That is the same error I received when I tried to use my backup external HD:e When I went to select a song it ask me that same question and said Hoster had to shutdown

I too have been experiencing this problem alot! I'm in the process of importing more than 200 gigs worth of ZIPPed files and I am also using and 400 gb external hard drive.
Here's what I found so far:

Because I'm importing so many files I have been able to import a certain number of file before it would eventually hit a point to where I would get "the error" and then have to shutdown and restart.(Hoster not Windows)

Each time I was able to download anywhere from 7 to 300 files before "the error" would pop -up

The first time this happened I took note of what file it was attempting to import , would locate it using windows explorer and removed it from the folder I was importing from. I than restart Hoster and continued where I let off and to my surprize it worked! I'm thinking now Bad file?

Until a little later down the road and got "the error" again only this time when I moved the file it didn't work and gave me the same "error". So I moved not only the file it stopped on but the next one also, restarted the whole process again and it worked!
Until I got it again and this time I tried first the one file, then the next file and it didn't work. I don't know why I didn't try the whole disc yet, (that would have been the next logical step) but I didn't, I just restarted again without doing anything and to my shock :e it worked!

So I'm not thinking corrupted file anymore (but it still maybe who knows?)
I'm thinking hardwhere resources, Vitual memory, updated etc.

Made sure I was updated and tried numerous configs but same result.

I 'm running a Dell Inspirion 8500 Laptop, Pent 4, 2.6 gb 512 mb ram with a 60gb internal drive 7200 rpm and a Seagate 400 gb external hard drive via USB 2.0 with Windows XP Professional fully updated with Hoster 3110 in ZIP BATCH mode

I even tried removing the whole disc from the folder in a last attempt to get past this, but success was not to be had on this folder any longer. I still had 1028 files to go on this folder (Pioneer files) also tried variations on selecting how the file is set up (disc id, trk, Artist, Tile) still made no difference.

From trying to do this for the last 4 days I know I can try another folder and it will start to work but only so far and the ending is the same.

Hope this gives you guy's at MTU more to go on. Please let me know if you have any sollutions I can try!

So far my problem only occurs with my All Hits zip folder.

Spoke to soon. All Hits, DK, Hellavdisc, and Legend so far. I don't get it. What could be the problem?

Make sure these .zip files aren't using Maximum Compression under Winzip. You might have to Unzip them and then Rezip them to see if they will then work.
