Editing brand name of discs
Ok,
I can't seem to get the brand names to edit(After I messed up a few names, they don't pull up if you have ' in the name of the disc or title of song). PS: Beavis... Thanks for the help on database rebuilding!!! Any help or insight witout deleting these songs and reimporting would be MUCH apperciated!!! Steve |
what is it your trying to do.
in the edit song option, you can change the title and artist, plus a few other things. first you have to search for what you want to edit. i dont have the computer that hoster is on in front of me, so im shooting from the hip. |
Here's the error message...
Hello,
I've got one of the disc brands coming up that causes arrors, and hoster won't let me get. Error Screen: "Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'MfgName= 'sound choice 50's & 60's - Vol. 11". (3075) Would you like to see help? yes or no If you hit yes, it comes up with: Can't find jeterr35.hlp file. Do you want to try to find this file yourself? yes or no Then it crashes hoster. Any ideas??? Thanks for your help.... PS: TP on the way.... For your bung hole..... Later, Steve |
why dont you just delete the kma in windows explorer, the go to hoster folder and delete the songs.mdb then rebuild the database.

More of the story...
I want to keep the songs, there should be nothing wrong with the songs. I just can't get them to pull up to edit or play.
I think it has something to do with the puncuation I put in the disc names. Some of them didn't come up when I tried to put them in the system, so I added the dics names, and they show some kind of error, then the error screen would go away. So I thought everything was OK, till editing info in some songs. That is when I found out I had probs. Later, Steve |
you need to put up the artist or song title, try that.
