Same thing happened to me this weekend. Since I upgraded to 3.110 Hoster or Micro Studio doesn't even see my plextor drive. The Plextor works ok on other programs. Just not with Hoster and Micro Studio. My Plextor is an internal 712a. I have never had any problems with it before I done the upgrade.

The upgrade should never have caused this to happen. The problem seems to have been with the Motherboard drivers that allow the system see the drive, using the ASPI drivers. So what I would suggest is going to your Motherboard Manufacturers website and then get the very latest drivers for your Chipset, or Motherboard drivers. Then once you have done this, you need to run the Hoster Upgrade again selecting Upgrade to reinstall the latest version of the ASPI driver. It should then be working.

Ok..its not the motherboard, it IS the upgrade, because the system sees the drive, Hoster doesn't..so it is not the board, just to be sure i upgraded the drivers for it and did what you said, and it doesn't work.. my other computer still has 3.006 on it and it works fine, so it it your upgrade, like i said, send me a refund and a link to download the older version. If you can't make the upgrade work on my computer, i shouldn't have to pay for it, so refund my money
