Overwrite Existing KMA Files?

Overwrite Existing KMA Files - When importing songs that already are imported, the new file replaces the prior one to prevent duplicate songs.

Does the overwriting work with HDZIP?

When they say overwrite does that mean the same song with the same bookid or discid. Or just any song in general. Say I have the song 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton, but I have six different brands of disc's with that song will it overwrite to where I have just one version. Because I don't really want my song book to show all those duplicates. I need it to just show one song. Is this making since? Please let me know.:g

It will just overwrite the one you import only if it is the same brand and disc id. It won't overwrite the other versions you have. I went to edit songs and deleated all my duplicate songs. Except for a few I keep a Sound Choice and a Chartbuster version if it is one I sing or one of my regulars sing all the time. Most of my song are SC and CB. The only time I use other name brands is when SC or CB don't have it. :)

Duplicate means Bookid Duplicate Hoster could care less if you have 50 copies of Crazy By Patsy Cline. But since Book id is the Index and has to be a Unique number It wont work with more than one of the same Predictably.
