Video Card Update
Hi Beavis & MTU Com.
I updated the driver & it worked great. But then I had to uninstall the video driver and reinstall the driver from dell to get my twin view to work my Power Point. Then I changed my screen back to use it for karaokee. It faded again. I reset the computer back to when I installed the update from windows and it works fine now. the card is a G Force 2 go. What Can I do to get both my monitor settings to work without reinstalling the dell driver. Thanks Davie Lee |
Re: Video Card Update
The new drivers should work for both. I have never seen this, but this is an NVIDIA card also, so that could have something to do with it.
If you can't tell I am very biased towards ATI. I have had lots of problems with the NVIDIA cards every time we used them. |

Can I get an Ati Card for my Dell Inspiron 8200? Davie Lee |
Re: Video Card Update
There is no way to replace the Video in the Laptops, without replacing the laptop itself.
You are stuck with the NVIDIA in this laptop. I think that Dell had an option to have ATI instead of NVIDIA at the time, when you purchased the laptop, but I think it was like a $200 upgrade. |
