Wow...never had that happen. MTU Support? How much stuff are you running in the background???? Is Hoster the only thing running. Plus, you may have to post the specs on your system.

Hey Chris:
I shut down antivirus and spyware software never had a problem with any previous Holster programs. Here's spec's

Intel Pentium 4 2.60GHz
1 GB ram
M Audio Delta 1010LT sound card
Sapphire Radeon 9200SE Atlantis Video 128 MB
2 70 GB HARD DRIVES MIRRORED
SIL RAID 1 Set 0 SCSI Driver version 5.1.2535.0

If you need more spec's let me know. I'll be upgrading my hard drives this year only have 10 GB's left.
I installed Holster 2219 back on my Comp until after this weekend.

The only thing that I can think of is that if you have a any characters such as ' or " in your song or artist names, this could happen.

When does it crash, as soon you as you click the Search button or when you search for a file? If there is a certain file that you see before it crashes, this would also help.

Had the same thing several upgrades ago, except it occured while Hoster was accessing the bucket.mdb during the import process. Reinstalling Hoster fixed it, and it hasn't reoccured.

Re: Installed 3.006 - Crashes now when performing search

It doesn't matter what you're doing.... if you're upgrading up to 3.006 then you HAVE to:

#1. Delete your current Songs.MDB
#2. Start Hoster (it will automatically rebuild the songs database)
#3. When Hoster is up and on the screen, searching will work fine.

3.006 has a different database structure, therefore you HAVE to rebuild it for the search function(s) to work properly. Once you rebuild it, you'll be fine.
