On Screen words

I am having trouble with the words
fading on the TV monitor. I bought
a new monitor thinking that was the
problem. But It does the same on the
new monitor. It happens after the show
is on after a half hour. Any help would
be great.

Thanks Davie Lee

Re: On Screen words

This is not a Hoster software problem, I assure you! :r

What's the operating temperature? This sounds like a "warming up" related problem.

If it gets too hot, the TV may be shutting down. Also, your video card and/or computer may be overheating. Make sure all air intake and outlet vents are clear and air is flowing. Is the air hot coming from your computer?

Give us as much facts and we'll all try to help you diagnose what is wrong with your setup.

Can you explain more as to what you mean by Fading?

As Beavis stated, have you made sure that you have all of the Windows Updates from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and that you also have the very latest drivers for your Video card, from the Manufacturers website.

Re: On Screen words

I have seen this in the past, and it is usually related to a weak signal to the monitor. It doesnt take a lot of signal to get a black & white Image, But you must have a strong signal for color.

If you are talking like on a Sound choice disk where the words swipe from white to yellow, this is most likely the problem.
