error message after adding kma files

I copied about 2000 songs from my home pc, where I do some of my disc importing, to my show pc. after that I, of course had to build song database. I got an error message when I did: "Database already exists. (3204)" I assume the 3204 is an error number. Haven't been able to make the database build work. Help!!!!!!

What version of Hoster?

Try shutting your computer down, then power up and run Hoster again. What you are reporting is NOT a normal Hoster error. Clicking Build Songs Database first renames the current Songs.mdb to Songs_old.mdb, then it builds a new one.

Read the manual on Rebuilding the Songs Database for more details.

do you have duplicate book ID #'s ?

you have to import from the same computer so the book id doesnt get messed up. Or network to the original (show) computer.

shutting down computer did not do anything. I think this is an issue with book ids. I do have duplicates. is there any way to fix this without reimporting all of these discs? I haven't found a way to do this in the manual or by searching through the program

There is no way to fix the Duplicate BookIDs. You will beable to identify them with Hoster 3.10x when it is released, but you will then have to manually go and remove them, and then reimport the ones that are duplicates.
