I have Microstudio 2.609 And want to update but it sayes goto download sight. I know my sereal# but not my download link. What do I need To do. Thank You:r

To update you must have kept your original Email to get it for free. Here is the information on the Policy: http://www.mtu.com/support/info.htm#Upgrades

I know my regestration code. And Im not asking for another code. My computer crashed and I lost my E-Mail Link to the download site. My version is 2.609 ordered October26 2004 I read your policy and thankyou

The email is shipped to you from the store. This is all generated from the mtu.com store so we don't have a copy of this. This is why you must purchase the ugprade to replace this email, this is what the charge is for.

I too read the policy but, the policy did not make clear about what happens if you "loose" your reg code and/or download link. It "seems" to say that if you loose your registration code(s) and/or download links, then you have to start all over again as if you had never purchased it before?.... IE. Full Price... ect? Is this correct?

When you order an upgrade for any product, our web site scripts automatically verifies you already own the full version in your record. If you do, it allows the upgrade order at the lower price, and creates a new RegCode and download link for you. :w

As MTUSUPPORT wrote, we do not have access to the download links and emails past ~30 days. We will resend this to someone who never got it (spam arrestors, AOL blocking of .com emails, etc.), but past 30 days it needs to be reordered. Sorry, we do expect you to save your valuables in a safe place... preferably off your computer.

Now, to overcome the fact that people do loose valuable things, we have been building a new store with user accessable private accounts. It should be active at our site this summer. You will be able to signin to your account with your private username-password. Your account will have a "My Software" page showing all the programs you have purchased, each download link, associated RegCode and RegEmail. In fact, the store order acknowledgement email will have a link to your Account instead of containing your download link, RegCode and RegEmail. That way, you can see and print your details, and can't loose your info. :g

Okay, That tells me what I need to know.....

It's nice to know these things "before" you find yourseld forking out another couple hundred bucks. :)

Answer this how many download links do you have? And I didnt see any thing in your policy about the link being replaced, just username and password or key. And I think this could be a point of intrest to customers who you want to be repeat buyers, because this could be seen as a way to double charge.
