will version 3.000 work with my laptop DVDR drive?
 
will version 3.00 wok with my sony laptop which as a dvd writer u54a is the model thanks

Microstudio 3.000 will work with any CDROM, CDR, DVDR drive for CDG format discs if it supports the "Raw DAO96" format. Once we get a demo out, you will be able to test your drive to find out. :w

I doubt if your laptop spec will say if the drive supports this format.

sony says it supports cdg as does nero in the info file section. does it look promising for me

No promises, But I have a laptop with a sony dvd/cd drive on it, and it does work. I am using a similar product as Microstudio at this time doesnt support it. I am sure I will be using microstudio.

thanks but the drive in you sony is it the u54a dvd rom
