Plextor drive

Hello all, i recently purchased an internal plextor dvd-+r/cd -+ r after having much success with my usb plexwriter, i put it in a rack mounted computer, however, it says it is supposed to support CD+g but hoster doesn't recognize it as a CD+G compatible reader/recorder..what's up?

What model Plextor do you have. Click here to download the latest Aspi drivers. :)

Re: Plextor drive

You must have the latest version of Hoster for it to support the Plextor PX-716 Model.

To find out what version you have click on the Help Menu\About Hoster. It must show 3.006 to support this drive, if you have anything prior to this it will not work, so you must upgrade to the current version.

Re: Plextor drive

Do you have the USB or Internal drive? If you have the USB make sure that it is turned on and showing in Windows before you open the Hoster software.

I am not sure what would cause this, as I use these drives all the time at work and they work fine.

Re: Plextor drive

Go to the Tools Menu, Default CD/DVD Drives, reselect your Plextor drive. Then click Ok, close Hoster and reopen Hoster. It should now work.
