Re: Hoster probs

Are you saying that when a song is added to the songlist, the white background in the song name block turns to solid black ?

Re: Hoster probs

you must have the back ground set to black and the font set to black.

Re: Hoster probs

It also looks like the hoster has streached the bar at the bottom is very small and if you move that it goes back to a white background

hope this helps in fixing my problems

Re: Hoster probs

I gotta admit I thought that the problem was in the songlist, which to my knowledge is a fixed set of colors (white background with black text which changes to blue background with white text when a song is selected to play), but now I don't have a clue as to what or where the problem is, let alone a solution.

Sorry,

George

It's bugging me.

Try right clicking on a blank spot on your desktop.

Select PROPERTIES.

Select the SETTINGS tab.

On the COLOR QUALITY box, select 32 bit. If it's on 32 bit try 16 bit.

I'm obviously fishing.

Re: Hoster probs

Am I right in thinking that the problem is on the playlist listing, and not on the singer's screen?

Re: Hoster probs

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Hoster, then re-booting?

Lindy March 1st, 2005 02:20 PM

Re: Hoster probs

if i uninstall and reinstall would i lose my original updates

Lindy
Thank you so much for your help

Re: Hoster probs

If you mean would you lose any of your songs, no. After re-installing do a rebuild database in the tools section, and everything should be o.k.

You don't have to download again. Just reinstall your present version.

Which version do you have, anyway?

Re: Hoster probs

I was saving system restore for the last shot as I was kinda afraid it might undo your new keyboard installation, and put you back where you were in that regard.

I've had it reverse software installations I've made, and have come to expect it. Maybe it doesn't mess with hardware.

Anyway, glad you're up and running.

Take care,

George
