read speed slow
 

Can anyone help me resolv my read speed porblem? I can write a cd+g in 3 to 4 minutes, and all of my cd's will work in the play tab. My read speed however is 30 to 40 minutes. Also the dialog box does not show the read speed or time remaining(as shown in manual). Some cd's will not read at all for duplication but are fine in the play tab. Last but not least, it seems to have been a progressive thing. It's much slower now than when the software was first installed(one week ago).

I'm not at my home computer, but you need to change your read speed. To do this go to the top of the screen (line with File in it) pick the tab that says Tools ?, or Utility (I don't remember what it is called) The first line under the tab is Speed. You can change your read and write speed there. I leave my read speed on Auto and it reads at the max speed available. Sorry I can't remember the names of the tabs, but it's there (trust me)

Just remembered the tab is "Drives" Maybe I should have taken my meds sooner :)
