Won't Detect Drives-Reinstall 2.609??
 

It's happened a couple of times now, where after I remove another program, different one each time, that when I go to Microstudio, it won't recognize the drives. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drives but no success. The only fix for this that I have found is reinstalling 2.609-requiring internet connection. (This last time I chose the option to upgrade, even though it was the same version and didn't have to retype all my info)

Is this the only solution? Are my reinstalls counted against me? Has anyone pinned this down to a certain cause that I can avoid in the future?

The Installs are not counted against you. If you are installing on the Same computer.

Your problem is that the programs that you are removing also use a Wnaspint.dll file, as Microstudio does. These programs are then removing this file.

You could also fix this by downloading the Install just for the ASPI driver from: http://www.mtu.com/kb/index.php?page=index_v2&id=23&c=1

Solution #1 will do the trick.
