WnAspiNT Error
 

Dear Sirs,

I recently had a serious system failure and had the system repaired. The changes were enough that I could not reload the KJ suite I had so I repurchased. Upon successful loading of the software I found that the Plextor drive would not write any more from any of the programs. After reading the threads herein, I reset the drivers, removed Nero, there were no updates for the new motherboard. At this time The drive will not write regular CD's anymore but has no problems reading.

Motherboard -- KT266A
Processor -- AMD Duron Processor 1.60 Ghtz
512 Mb Ram
Windows XP
Error -- WnAspiNT Error opening registry for "Hardware\devicemap\SCSI\SCSI port 2" Error=2 portNumber=2

This sounds like the Registry Key is damaged for that Drive. It sounds as if something has gotten corrupted already on your new system.

You might want to talk to your comptuer person about this.
