MTU.Community - New burner doesn't show up

I installed a Plextor PX-716A and downloaded the demo version of Microstudio and it doens't detect the burner. Is it that the burner is too new for your version yet? I tried the solutions in "My CDR drive is not found-Upgrading ASPI driver......." Solution 1 didn't help, Solution 2 gave me a message of "WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the application. And I already had the correct file in Solution 3 from Nero.
Now what do I do?
I would like to have the suite but if the programs don't work then whats the use.
