Sony CRX100E/X won't burn

I have a Sony CRX100E/X and downloaded the trial version. All seems to work fine, except nothing burns to the CD. No error messages, just no data at the end of the process.

Are you selecting Write CD or Test Write CD? If you are doing the Test, then it will not actually burn the data to the disc, if you are doing the Write, then I would say something is wrong with the burner.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am attemting to write, not test. The burner does copy conventional CD's using Roxio software. My drive is an external USB drive. Does this have any bearing?
