Error Recognizing DVD Burner

Hey guys.

I keep getting this error: WnAspiNT '(5) and (35) Error reading Inquiry Data for devices. Error = 1'.
I searched the forums and saw the solution to download the latest motherboard drivers but that had no effect. I am running Windows XP and using a Plextor drive from you guys. I don't have Nero installed but I do have Roxio DVD Creater 6.
I have Service Pack 2 installed. I have the latest video/audio/motherboard drivers as well as the latest DVD firmware and am still stuck.
What other info do you need?

This error means that your computer will not run our ASPI Driver. You will have to use the Adaptec Drivers and hope they work with your system. You can do this at: http://www.mtu.com/kb/index.php?page=index_v2&id=23&c=1

Before you Install the Adaptec Drivers, Search your computer for the wnaspint.dll file. Once you find this in the C:\Windows(or winnt)\system32 folder. Delete this file.
