Select a reading device
 

I downloaded the new microstudio upgrade(from 2.506 to 2.609). My problem is that when I try to record I get a message that says " select a reading device (cdrom). I've set my device to the plextor drive that I have been using all the time. Yet It still gives me the same message and won't let me continue any futher.

Kenny,
Click the Down arrow on the Right side of the Listbox for the Reading Drive, then left click on the Plextor drive in this box. Close Microstudio, reopen it and then it will work.

This can happen occasionally, so just follow the steps again and it will reset your Selection in the Registry.
