Observation
 

Since the last time I ran Hoster for a show I have not upgraded. I will when I have more time.

I use my productivity computer presently to run my shows. This computer has boo-coo software installed on it. The last show I did I had no problems at all. Everything was wonderful. Friday night I had a problem that I didn't understand. I am using PCDJ software in conjunction with Hoster. Once during the show I clicked Hoster on the Taskbar to return from running PCDJ and Hoster had nothing but a framed window, no buttons or playlist, just blank. Then I tried to return to PCDJ, the mouse was gone. Couldn't do anything. I paniced and hit Ctl+Alt+Del several times and windows never closed but somehow I got mouse back. Don't know what happened, but the last show I did I used WMP instead of PCDJ. I also did a clean boot before running the show and this time I didn't. It is my personal feeling that because I didn't do clean boot some program running in the background caused this. I won't forget next time to do a clean boot beforehand. I really want to purchase standalone Hoster computer but, we'll see.

If anybody else is using a computer that has a lot of other stuff running in the background I would not assume that it won't effect your show. I believe it might.
