Plextor Premium does not recognize CDG through Microstudio
 

I just replaced my Plextor 401240A with the Plextor Premium 523252A. When I go to import discs through Microstudio 2.40, it sees the drive but does not recognize it as a Karaoke drive.... I am running Win XP. I did download drivers from plextor. I also updated my aspi drivers from MTU. Any thoughts?

Microstudio 2.4, which is rather old now, won't recognize your "modern" drive. You need to upgrade to 2.609. :s

Thank you for your response. Actually last night I did purchase the upgrade for $15. I received the email stating my instructions would be sent shortly on how to download the upgrade. I have still not received the email with the link in it as of right now. Any idea how long it takes to get that email so I can begin backing all these discs back into my new hard drive?

Normally our store sends the email out within 10-20 seconds of receiving approval on a credit card. I just was informed by an active Forum member that he did not receive Forum post notices until about 12 hours later. We are upgrading our web site, but I don't know why that would delay 12 hours. :e

Check your JUNK or SPAM mailboxes, especially if you are on AOL. They almost always flag our emails as spam. More often than not, that is the reason for users not "seeing" them immediately. :r

Your husband's order was paid by check, which we don't process until we receive the payment.

I understand you called and gave our Office Manager your credit card, we charged it, and she released your download.

On this order our web site wasn't slow after all... :w

Yes, I did speak with your admin rep. Sandy was very helpful and I am enjoying my upgraded version with my upgraded cdrw drive. I am feverishly downloading all my library back into my hard drive. Got a show tonight. Thank you for your help and support.... I really like this program.
