Lyrics do not appear
 

I have recently experienced a problem I need some help with. I am using MicroStudio Ver. 2.609. I am running windows XP professional, service pack 2. I have an ATI Radeon 7500 series video card. I am also running DirectX ver. 9.0c. I have run every DirectX test available, and the all succeed with no problems noted. Other than installing windows service pack 2 and the Ver. 2.609 Microstudio upgrade, nothing is different from when Microstudio worked perfectly.

Since these upgrades, when I now run Microstudio to play cdg files on my hard drive, the 'first' screen appears, usually the cdg product screen, like 'Chartbuster Karaoke We keep america singing', then shortly after, the music plays. However the screen does not change.....no lyrics appear.

Strange, but I am hoping someone has had the same problem and will be able to help.

I appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Al,
This is due to the Sound Card Drivers. Make the change stated at: http://www.mtu.com/kb/index.php?page..._v2&id=11&c=13

This should fix it.

It works perfectly, again. For some reason, I thought the problem was in the video card.
