Hoster 2.215 #2 with Windows 2000
 

I just purchased Hoster 2.215 #2 via MTU web site. I tried to install it on my Window 2000 workstation with SP3. After it is installed and I restarted my computer. When I try to run Hoster I got error that it cannot find DSOUND.DLL. I search my hard drive to see if I have this DLL and I found it under C:\WinNT\System32 and this is on the search path.
Does anyone has problem install Hoster on Windows2000 machine? :?

no hoster runs better on 2000 then xp
make sure you have the update on windows media player
direct x 9c and sever pak 4

this should take care of any thing you my run into
at least ver 9.00.0 on media player

Do as Mike has said and this will fix your problems.

After install Directx 9c runtime, it did resolved my problem. Thanks.

glad to here it

when it comes to windows sorry to say some of the dll
are all over the place which most of them should of loaded when they installed the operateing program but it does not happin like that all the time
so that is why it is important to use your up dates that are out there
