Loading cdg files from hard drive into Hoster
 

I have my collection of cdg files (1800 titles) already saved in a folder on my external 250gig hard drive. I have used it succesfully for many years with microstudio (which has been upgraded several times). I assumed that it would be no problem to use my existing files with Hoster the profesional version for Karaoke DJ's like me''' but alas I have not been able to load one single song, I am extremely distressed that my latest purchase from MTU appears to be incapable of accessing cdg files from my hard drive.
Am I missing something or is this truly the case. Do I really have to load it all again from my disks? I would very much appreciate an answer.

as of right now yes you will have to reload into hoster because hoster uses kma files not cdg.bin files but mtu is working on transfering from hard drive in future release so hang in there.

Thanks very much, I now accept that it can not be done that way and I am now in the process of loading from cdg discs. Never mind, it seems well worth the effort - Hoster is very obviously far superior to Microstudio and I can't wait to try it out for real.

your right mtu hoster is the best software out there for running a prof. show it took me 5 months to load all 1000+ disks but it was well worth it.
