Hi Bryan,
I don't mean to appear ignorant, but I couldn't match my error to any on the thread you pointed me to.
Is there another possible thread that would cover my exact error?

Re: error message

This is the same as Error #3

3) ERROR: Unable to read AUDIO sectors 0 to 25 on device 0:0:0 'Illegal command request' (04h 00h 02h 05h 24h 00h).

SOLUTION: The CD-R drive doesn't support the CD+G format correctly. Click here to see a list of drives that INCORRECTLY show Yes to cause this error.

If you do have a Plextor drive, then it may be going bad or no longer reading the Karaoke. When it tells you "Illegal Command Request" this means that when the software has sent to the command to the drive to read the CD+G part of the disc, the drive is saying that it doesn't understand what to do. This is the reason that it comes back stating Illegal Command Request.

Try other discs and make sure it is not just one disc that is doing this also, it is possible there is a new type of security out there causing this, possibly.
