It worked b4, now it doesn't
 

Microstudio 2.4 Windows Me P4 1.7mhz 32g (recently defragged) PLEXTOR CD-R PX-W2410A 1.04

Three weeks ago I made some backup discs and it worked fine. No new software added to the machine. DirectX is "8.0 or better". Auto notification is off. Now it seems to read okay but I can't get thru a whole write. Quits/freezes/hangs on me about track 14-16 of an eighteen track discs. I tried different brands same result.

Upgrade your ASPI Drivers as described at: http://www.mtu.com/kb/index.php?page=index_v2&id=23&c=1

You may also try upgrading your Firmware from Plextor.

This should help you get it working, unless the drive has died. If it still won't work, you may contact Plextor at 800-866-3935.
